Welcome to a forever favorite Manhattan engagement session.

The flower stands at the delis are so popular in the city, and while I captured them buying the flowers, I also loved getting the chance to incorporate some posing within the flowers, taking advantage of the different levels of the stands. This unique approach diverges from the more common "run around the city" style often seen in engagement sessions. It involves finding those distinct moments and spaces that truly represent the couple’s love and the essence of Manhattan.

Since the concept was NYC energy engagement photos, I really wanted to keep it true to the city and play around with those elements.

Manhattan engagement photos are about more than just posing; they’re about integrating strong, editorial postures with the city’s elements.

A prime example of this is transforming a mundane scene, like a trash can under scaffolding, into a beautiful backdrop. Such innovative settings in a Manhattan engagement session showcase the city's diverse character and the couple's personality. Having Lindsey standing (in her sweet white heels, no less) on top of the trash can was such a great way to work levels and turn something unremarkable into a few of my favorite photos from the session.

But in the end, what really made these NYC engagement photos so electric is the energy these guys have.

They are so playful and fun yet so intimate and sexy at the same time. Needless to say, this session was everything I dream about here at From The Daisies - different, bold, energetic, with a drop of sexy.

A Manhattan engagement session is about capturing the essence of the couple in a setting that is as vibrant and multifaceted as their relationship- and I’m so lucky Lindsey and Noam wanted to do just that.
