Because honey, you’re in for an absolute dream. I met K+J earlier in the year to do their engagement session in Denver - we had the most magical time capturing their love in their home. Since then, I’ve been counting down the days until we could celebrate their wedding at Race and Religious in NOLA.

Kait and JJ are the humans who make everyone feel welcomed - and their day was no exception. They tied the knot surrounded by their closest friends and family, had a little chop of the hair after the ceremony, and danced the night away after jumping in the pool. Race and Religious was the perfect wedding venue for getting ready.

We started the day getting ready with Kait in the beautiful and decadent halls of Race and Religious. I cannot explain how excited I was to photograph in the halls and bathroom of this venue- from the pink tiled walls to the beautiful blue halls? Please, mama was home.

After that, K+J shared the most beautiful first look on the Race and Religious grounds.

This venue truly had it all, and was the perfect backdrop for Kait and JJ to celebrate their day and eclectic style. It was such an honor to capture their wedding day here, and the celebration was something I’ll never forget.

Kait and JJ were truly some of my absolute favorite clients I’ve ever had. JJ is the sweetest angel boy and my girl Kait is nothing short of a vibe. Cutting your hair after your ceremony? I’ve never met couple so determined to do their day in a way that truly reflects THEM. Their entire wedding at Race and Religious was just so fun, beautiful , and an honor to be a part of.
